Big Ben Will Be Back, Ready to Revive Offense
The Pittsburgh Steelers were not good at throwing the ball last season. They actually were only better than one other team in the entire NFL and that was Washington who was transitioning to a rookie quarterback.
A big reason why the sudden drop-off occurred was that Big Ben was injured the entire season. With Big Ben back the Steelers will look very different.
This does not mean that the Steelers will jump into the top five of the NFL, but frankly they do not need to be that high. What Pittsburgh needed is to be a threat throwing so that everything would open up and the offense could move the ball. Pairing Big Ben with JuJu Smith-Shuster again is a great recipe for the Steelers to be competitive on offense.
Big Ben is going to be hungry for success early in this campaign and will come like a man shot from a cannon. On Monday Night Football, the Steelers have enough pieces coming back for a dominate offensive performance against a mediocre at best Giants defense.
