Yannick Ngakoue Has Two Sacks, Forces Fumble
It took a while, but sure enough, the Jacksonville Jaguars finally traded Yannick Ngakoue after many months. Now, he is preparing to step in with his new team and make a big impact for the Minnesota Vikings when the team faces the Green Bay Packers in Week 1.
There was a thought the Vikings could be left depleted at the edge rusher role following the departure of Everson Griffen to the Dallas Cowboys. The move to acquire Ngakoue will fill that vital role and it will be an upgrade for Minnesota’s defense in the end.
The projected matchup that Ngakoue will face against the Packers will be David Bakhtiari, the All-Pro left tackle. It will be no easy task to succeed against such an impressive talent. However, Ngakoue will find a way to get the job done against Bakhtiari.
Ngakoue will have extra motivation to go out and prove himself with the Vikings. He could transcend a difficult matchup and post an impressive two sack performance while also forcing a fumble. Managing to do so would put Minnesota in a real position to win.
