Packers Win a Nail-Biter to Move to 1-0

The Green Bay Packers swept the season series with the Minnesota Vikings in 2019 and expect that momentum to carry over into their Week 1 showdown. Both teams will be vying for the top spot in the NFC North standings for another season.

The Vikings’ inability to slow down Aaron Jones has been a real issue against the Packers and that shouldn’t change. If Minnesota looks to adjust to better neutralize Green Bay’s running game, expect Aaron Rodgers to take full advantage with a big performance.

Let’s not forget, the Packers’ defense has been crucial in the team’s recent success when facing the Vikings, too. It’s been difficult for Kirk Cousins to find a rhythm against Green Bay and that shouldn’t change with the personnel they still have, which will be too much to overcome.

It will be far from a blowout, but expect the Packers to come out on top when facing off with the Vikings in Week 1. It will end up being a crucial determining factor in the NFC North standings when the 2020 regular season is all said and done.
