Derek Carr Begins Looking Like A Star Again

Next up, the Raiders are hoping to see a resurgent season from Derek Carr in 2020. Just a few short years ago, Carr was talked about as one of the top up-and-coming quarterbacks in the entire league.

Against the Panthers, Carr will start looking like a star again. He may not have Tyrell Williams, but he has plenty of weapons with Jacobs, Ruggs, Hunter Renfrow, and Darren Waller. Carr is going to put on a show.

Carr will end up completing 70 percent of his passes and will throw for 350 yards and four touchdowns. The Panthers’ defense won’t have an answer for him.

If the Raiders want to make a run at a Wild Card playoff berth, Carr needs to have a big season. Carr also needs to have a big year to keep his job in Las Vegas. Gruden and company will be very pleased with what they see from their quarterback.
