When the Chiefs chose to take Clyde Edwards-Helaire in the 2020 NFL Draft, many were expecting a good rookie season. Following the news that Damien Williams was sitting out the season due to concerns surrounding COVID-19, the expectations for the rookie skyrocketed.

Edwards-Helaire is going to be the every-week starter and is going to put up big numbers. Some even believe he is the front-runner to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award.

Against the Texans, the rookie is going to show out. He will rush for 75 yards, but his ability as a receiver will be on full display. CEH will rack up around 75 yards and a couple scores as a receiver as well.

Kansas City needs a consistent ground game to keep defenses honest. With Edwards-Helaire embracing that role, it will open up Mahomes for mismatches all season long.
