4. Joe Flacco Turns The Ball Over Twice

Darnold has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Cardinals. He was slammed on his shoulder in Thursday night’s loss to the Broncos but was able to return and finish the game. The injury must have been worse than expected. Flacco will get the start in this one.

That is good news for the Cardinals’ defense. Actually, it did not matter which quarterback played. Flacco will step in and make up for Darnold by turning the ball over twice.

It does not look like Darnold’s injury is season ending but if so, this could be the end of him in New York. Darnold needs a change of scenery and the Jets need to cut ties. Once Gase is inevitably relieved of his duties as head coach, Darnold will be next.

Anyway, as for this particular game, Flacco will struggle. He has not had much time on the field over the last two years. Being thrown into the fire with nothing around him is not a recipe for success.
