3. Evan Engram Finally Plays Up To His Potential

There was no shortage of intrigue surrounding the Giants’ offense entering this season— with Evan Engram being a critical reason for that. So far, it has been a struggle for him to establish consistency.

After having a season with no shortage of challenges dealing with injuries, Engram was finally healthy and ready to go. He started out with just two catches for nine yards in his season debut against the Steelers— following that up with six catches for 65 yards against the Bears in a respectable outing.

Instead of building off his Week 2 performance, Engram came out against the 49ers and was flat with just three catches and 22 yards. Having such a strange up-and-down variance in output has been strange to see from him despite being important for the Giants’ offense.

The Giants’ matchup with the Rams will feature Engram producing eight catches resulting in 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He will showcase the dynamic potential that many believed he had prior to the start of the current NFL season.
