Chase Young Records Multiple Sacks Again

Chase Young entered the league as, what most people considered, the best prospect in the draft. After dominating at Ohio State, the expectation was that he would immediately contribute to his new NFL home.

Following the paths of Joey and Nick Bosa, Young was hopeful that he would be able to get started on the right foot and compete at the highest level.

Young did just that during an all-out blitz from Washington on Sunday. Young recorded 1.5 sacks in his NFL debut along with 2 more tackles and 2 assists. This was the kind of productivity that was expected of Young coming out of the draft and he was able to live up to the hype.

In his second NFL game, expect Young to continue making a strong case for early defensive rookie of the year favorite. The best chance Washington has to win any game is to completely overpower the offensive line.

Young will be able to go against a quarterback that can tuck the ball and run before looking to pass at times. If Murray gets scared and tries to run too often, he will find Young standing in his way.
