Derrick Henry Surpasses 100 Yards w/TD
The heart-and-soul of the Titans’ offense is Derrick Henry and coming off an All-Pro campaign, he will look to have another dominant season. It will all start with Tennessee’s Week 1 matchup with the Broncos.
It’s safe to say that Henry’s outing against the Broncos was the worst he had for the Titans in 2019. He ended with 15 carries and just 28 rushing yards, meaning he averaged a horrendous 1.9 yards per carry.
Most of the highly explosive performances Henry provided the Titans occurred after the team’s 16-0 loss to the Broncos. Having a legitimate threat at quarterback by swapping out Marcus Mariota was a game-changer and that will be the case in this matchup.
There is plenty of impactful talents on the Broncos’ front-line. However, Henry has now reached the level of impact where he’s going to be able to transcend unfavorable matchups and rack up figures in excess of 100 yards with a pair of touchdowns.
