5. Minshew Mania Is In Full Effect
There is a lot that has to go right in order for a rebuilding team to get wins. Perhaps the greatest factor for the Jaguars is the ability of Gardner Minshew to put together a big performance.
Last week, Minshew put together an impressive display against the Bengals. He completed 27-of-40 (67.5%) pass attempts for a season-high 351 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
The Texans’ defense is one that Minshew can find similar success as he did against the Bengals. He will need to string together strong performances in order to continue to solidify his future with Jacksonville’s organization.
By the time Minshew’s performance is complete, he will have an output of at least 300 passing yards and three touchdown throws— free of any interceptions.
