The Cincinnati Bengals were able to pick up a huge victory in Week 14 against the Indianapolis Colts, 34-14. They will be looking to keep the positive momentum going in Week 15 when they host the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15.

The Vikings are dealing with an injury to their star receiver, Justin Jefferson, who hurt his chest on a jarring hit from Marcus Epps of the Las Vegas Raiders. The Bengals are dealing with on themselves to his collegiate teammate, Ja’Marr Chase.

The Bengals held only a walkthrough on Tuesday, but teams estimate what players would do at a normal practice on the injury report. Chase was listed as a non-participant because of an ankle injury, which raised some eyebrows.

However, Chase was in uniform and present at the portion of practice that was open to the media. That could be an indication that he is still on track to play this weekend despite the designation the team provided for him.

NFL News & Rumors: Ja’Marr Chase & Cincinnati Bengals Updates

Chase did have a quiet game against the Colts over the weekend, catching only three passes for 29 yards. It was the first time in five games he failed to record at least 80 receiving yards or a touchdown in a game.

Luckily for the Bengals, other players were able to step up in the passing game and produce as quarterback Jake Browning spread the wealth around. Nine different players caught a pass and the most receptions anyone had was three. Running back Chase Brown led the team with 80 yards while Tee Higgins chipped in 72.

Cincinnati certainly needs Chase healthy if they are going to make a run at the postseason as he is their most explosive weapon on offense. Going up against a much-improved Vikings defense, the Bengals will need all hands on deck offensively to get the job done.
