1. David Njoku
Last season, everyone was expecting David Njoku to have a breakout season with the Browns in his third season with the team. However, after suffering a wrist injury early in the season, Njoku would land on injured reserve and wouldn’t return until Week 14.
Then, early in free agency this offseason, Cleveland inked a deal with Austin Hooper — who is coming off of a career-year with the Atlanta Falcons. Despite the addition of Hooper, Njoku still has a chance to prove himself worthy of being a first-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Last year with the Vikings, Stefanski ran 12 personnel (one running back, two tight ends, two wide receivers) 34-percent of the time, which was the second-most in the NFL behind the Philadelphia Eagles. Provided that, even with Hooper slotted into the No. 1 tight end spot, Njoku should see plenty of action in 2020.
