Bobby Okereke, Linebacker

Finally, the Colts are also expecting a big leap forward from linebacker Bobby Okereke. He has been hyped up quite a bit this offseason and Matt Eberflus could not be more excited to get the most out of his young talent.

Last season, Okereke had a fairly inconsistent role. He received meaningful playing time and made the most of it.

Okereke ended up totaling 65 tackles to go along with a sack, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and two defended passes. Those numbers show the potential of something much bigger. He has the ability and potential to become a legitimate star if he develops as he should.

Indianapolis is slowly turning their defense into a strength. Ballard has been building through the draft and Okereke is one of the many picks that he has made to take the unit to a top-notch level.
