Cowboys: 3 reasonable expectations for Amari Cooper in 2020

Amari Cooper, Redskins

2. 1,350 Receiving Yards

While his reception total should stay about the same, the Cowboys are going to want to see his yardage rise. Defenses are going to have to focus on slowing down CeeDee Lamb as well, which should open up the deep ball even more.

Around 1,350 receiving yards would be a very reasonable goal for Cooper. He racked up 1,189 receiving yards last season on 79 receptions. Improving his reception total by one and his receiving yards by close to 200 is a more than reasonable goal.

Cooper is a dynamic deep threat and he has the size and athleticism to be a monster. If he stays consistent, the Cowboys are going to see Cooper’s numbers rise to this level.
