Cowboys: 3 reasonable expectations for Amari Cooper in 2020

1. 12 Touchdown Receptions

Finally, players that make big money are expected to make big plays. That is the case for Amari Cooper entering this season as well.

After catching eight touchdowns last season, the Cowboys need to see Cooper raise that number in 2020. Targeting 12 touchdowns on the year would be more than reasonable. A stat line of 80 receptions for 1,350 yards and 12 touchdowns would look much better for Cooper than his 2019 line.

Dallas invested big money into Cooper this offseason on a long-term commitment. They have yet to pay Dak Prescott his big contract, but Cooper is the kind of receiver that a team can’t let go.
