4. Cowboys Will Lead NFL in Points

The Cowboys are going to have an elite offense. In 2019, Dallas led the league with 431.5 yards per game. They scored 27.1 points per game which was sixth in the league. In 2020, they could take that step to the top spot in points.

Dallas gave Cooper a massive deal. Ezekiel Elliott’s contract situation is taken care of. Prescott is making $31.4 million this season. So for those of you wondering why the Cowboys aren’t paying Prescott, think again. They are paying him big time. The long term extension is coming soon. Michael Gallup is an up-and-coming wide receiver. Not to mention they drafted CeeDee Lamb in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

This has a chance to be a dominant offense. Mike McCarthy is now on the sidelines which is a major upgrade from Jason Garrett. All signs point to the Cowboys having a big year on the offensive side of the ball. In 2019, the Baltimore Ravens led the NFL with 33.2 points per game. They were the only team to average 30 or more points during the regular season. The Cowboys could join that group in the upcoming season.
