Year after year, the quarterback position becomes less of a priority when playing fantasy football. With leagues trending toward implementing PPR (points per reception) scoring, most quarterbacks have taken a backseat to running backs and wide receivers in the pecking order.

Ahead of the 2019 NFL season, Lamar Jackson was a quarterback taken in the later rounds of fantasy football re-draft leagues.
