Alvin Kamara
Ever since his breakout season as a rookie in 2017, Alvin Kamara has solidified himself as a definitive first-round pick in fantasy football drafts. Given his consistent dual-threat ability in the New Orleans Saints offense, Kamara has a somewhat safe floor in 2020. Also, more touchdowns seem to be on the horizon for Kamara.
While dealing with knee and ankle ailments last season, Kamara still racked up 1,330 scrimmage yards and 81 receptions. In each of his first three seasons, he’s disturbingly caught exactly 81 passes for the Saints. Though, the electrifying running back for the Saints managed to obtain just six touchdowns last season. Altogether, in his first two seasons, Kamara accounted for an impressive 31 touchdowns.
With Kamara one-hundred percent healthy, coupled with the return of Drew Brees, the former third-round pick should see more opportunities to celebrate touchdowns in 2020. Barring another injury-riddled season, Kamara should find himself reverting back to scoring double-digit touchdowns again this season. Not to mention, Kamara will be more motivated than ever as he enters a contract year in 2020.
