Fantasy Football: Ranking the top 5 PPR wide receivers for 2020

3. Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers

Despite missing four games last year, Adams led the Packers in targets (127), catches (83) and yards (997) by substantial margins. Then the front office signed Devin Funchess in free agency, and took no one from an incredibly deep wide receiver class in the draft. So in short, Adams is still the unchecked No. 1 option. Don’t forget he was second in the league in targets in 2018 (169), and in fantasy football parlance he was the overall WR2 in full PPR.

Even if the Packers want to run the ball more, it’s not as if Aaron Rodgers won’t be throwing a good amount and Adams’ target share will be among the top in the league. That’s an automatic formula for individual success, not unlike Hopkins’ run in Houston.
