Fantasy Football: Start Em’ Sit Em’ Recommendations for Week 10

TEs to Start in Week 10

Steelers’ Vance McDonald (vs. Panthers): Vance McDonald has become one of the better options on the Pittsburgh Steelers offense. McDonald has struggled the past two weeks, scoring 13.2 points combined in those two games. Look for him to bounce back in Week 10, as he takes on the Carolina Panthers, who allow the most points to TEs this year.

Saints’ Benjamin Watson (vs. Bengals): Benjamin Watson could become a viable option at TE this week. The Saints signed Dez Bryant, but Bryant will not play in Week 10. Cameron Meredith was also placed on injured reserve, leaving room for Watson to get more targets. The Bengals allow the second most points to TEs this year.

TEs to Sit in Week 10

Raiders’ Jared Cook (vs. Chargers): Jared Cook has surprisingly been one of the best scoring TEs this year. Lately though, he’s been tough to play. Cook has scored six or fewer points in three out of the last four weeks. The Raiders are a mess, which doesn’t make it any easier to play Cook.

Redskins’ Jordan Reed (vs. Buccaneers): With how bad the Washington Redskins has been, I’m not comfortable starting Jordan Reed going forward. He has failed to surpass 65 receiving yards in any game this year, leaving him as a touchdown or bust TE. I’d look for other options at TE, especially since he is questionable for Week 10.
