After a weird Week 1 in 2018 for fantasy football owners, let’s break down some of the must starts and must sits as Week 2’s slate of games open up.
Week 1 of the NFL regular season is now in the books. A lot of weird things went on. There was a tie in Week 1, which was the first tie to occur in Week 1 since 1971 (yes Donovan McNabb you can tie). The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Ryan Fitzpatrick looked like an elite quarterback. Plus, a game went on for over seven hours between the Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins. Since the NFL/AFL merger, this was the longest game played in NFL history.
What a way to kick off the 2018 campaign. Football is finally back.
There was plenty of notable performances as well, when it comes to fantasy football. New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees lit up the scoreboard despite falling short against the Buccaneers. Running back James Conner impressed in his debut, replacing Le’Veon Bell for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill displayed his uncanny speed with his new quarterback, Patrick Mahomes. Meanwhile, the New England Patriots’ Rob Gronkowski just did what Gronk does.
Week 1 was full of big time performances.
This week, we’ll be looking at who to start and sit in all of your fantasy leagues yet again. All of my picks are made based off of PPR (points per reception) scoring. My picks can be used for season long or daily fantasy, whichever you prefer to play.
Let’s get this show on the road for Week 2.
