Giants: 3 early goals for running back Saquon Barkley in 2020

As a rookie in the NFL back in 2018, Barkley was utterly dominant for the Giants. The Penn State product was able to rush for 1,307 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground. In addition, he caught 91 passes for 721 yards and another four touchdowns.

Altogether, in his first season with the Giants, Barkley combined for 2,028 scrimmage yards and 15 total touchdowns. Given his impressive rookie numbers, Barkley was selected to the Pro Bowl and won the 2018 Offensive Rookie of the Year Award.

After having 1,441 scrimmage yards in 2019, while missing three games for the Giants, Barkley would like to get back to where he was as a rookie. Provided that, it isn’t out of the realm of possibility for Barkley to produce over 2,000 yards from scrimmage for the second time in his career in 2020.
