Giants: 3 Reasons Why New York Should Consider Signing Sam Bradford

Fans in the Big Apple are growing restless, as their beloved New York Giants continue to underwhelm. The Giants are currently sitting at 1-7 during their bye-week in Week 9.

There’s been issues all year with this roster, mostly on the offensive side of things. To be more specific, the quarterback position.

Eli Manning has looked like a quarterback that is incapable of doing certain things, that he was once able to do, to a certain extent.

At 37 years old, Manning continues to get worse at different aspects of being a NFL quarterback. He is inaccurate, unable to sense pressure at a high-level and is immobile.

Manning was never a highly regarded athlete, but he was once able to escape pressure at times in his career. Now, once he senses any pressure, he folds in the backfield before he’s even touched.

For Giants fans, I know it’s hard to let go of what Manning was able to bring to the franchise. But, it is time for the Giants to move on and rather quickly.

This isn’t a situation like the New Orleans Saints or New England Patriots, where their veteran quarterbacks are still playing at a high-level.

Drew Brees and Tom Brady are defying the odds, while Manning is falling victim to father time.

Sam Bradford was just cut by the Arizona Cardinals, leaving him available for any team who could use his services. I believe the Giants should take a shot on him, as long as the price is right.

Here’s a few reasons why the G-Men should take a chance on Bradford.
