Evan Engram starts in all 16 games
Ever since the Giants took him with the No. 23 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, Evan Engram has proven that he could evolve into one of the premier tight ends in the NFL. However, in his first three seasons in the NFL, Engram has been unable to remain on the field due to multiple injuries.
Altogether, since 2017, the Ole Miss product has been sidelined for a total of 14 games. His best season came as a rookie in 2017 when he recorded 64 receptions for 722 yards and six touchdowns.
Despite the injuries he’s dealt with, Engram has been one of the best playmaking tight ends in the NFL in the past two seasons. The 25-year-old pass-catcher has finished with 377 (third-most among TEs in 2018) and 241 (11th most among TEs in 2019) yards after the catch, even though he missed 13 games in that span. While signs point to Engram missing games again in 2020, the athletic tight end will start in all 16 games for the first time in his career with the Giants.
