Saquon Barkley totals 1,000+ rushing and 1,000+ receiving yards
Saquon Barkley is one of the most electric players in the NFL and doesn’t need much of an introduction. The former Nittany Lion would burst onto the scene in 2018 as a rookie, compiling 2,028 scrimmage yards and 15 total touchdowns. He would also evade 114 tackles as a rookie, which was the most in the NFL.
Unfortunately, in his second season with the Giants, Barkley would sustain an ankle injury during an early-season showdown with the Buccaneers. Still, the Pro Bowl running back managed to contribute a respectable 1,441 yards from scrimmage yards and eight touchdowns.
The good news for New York is that Barkley appears to be one-hundred percent healthy and is motivated to have a stellar campaign in 2020. Just a season after Christian McCaffrey joined the illustrious group in 2019, Barkley will join the likes of Marshall Faulk and Roger Craig as the only running backs in NFL history to produce 1,000+ rushing yards and 1,000+ receiving yards in the same season.
