Aaron Rodgers Against the Vikings’ Playmaking Secondary
Secondly, Aaron Rodgers is going to have his hands full this week. Just like he has had his hands full with the Vikings over the past couple of years, the Vikings are going to come out aggressive looking to hit Rodgers. It was the Vikings who injured Rodgers last season, breaking his collarbone early in the year.
Green Bay cannot afford to turn the football over this week. Rodgers nearly threw an interception on the game-winning drive against the Bears, but Kyle Fuller was unable to make the play.
With a bad knee, Rodgers will not be able to move around as much as normal. That could come into play against a Vikings’ defense more than capable of putting pressure on him. Rodgers could very well be forced to make throws quicker than he would like, which could result in turnovers.
If, for some reason, Rodgers is unable to play, DeShone Kizer will have a nightmare matchup. Hopefully for the Packers, Rodgers will be just fine to play in Week 2.
