Green Bay Packers: 5 Biggest Takeaways from Week 3 Loss

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Green Bay Cannot Keep Starting Slow

It happened against Chicago and now it’s happened against Washington. In a sense, it happened against Minnesota as well. But, this Green Bay team cannot afford to keep playing football the way they have if they hope to put together a successful 2018 season. Each game thus far has been a story of two halves. The difference is that the team wasn’t able to finish in Washington.

The Packers need to put together two good halves of football rather one passive and one outstanding one. The offense and defense are out of sync. When one is on, the other is not. If these units can ever get on the same page, watch out.

This responsibility falls onto the shoulders of the coaching staff. They need to have their team ready and prepared every single minute of football. The style of football that Green Bay has currently deployed is so emotionally, and physically, draining. There is no way Green Bay can sustain this for 16 games.
