Will Fuller V, Wide Receiver

Deshaun Watson targeted Will Fuller V nine times on Sunday, completing eight passes to the third-year wide receiver. Fuller finished with 113 receiving yards against the Titans, including a 39-yard TD reception that gave the Texans a short-lived lead in the fourth quarter.

What makes Fuller’s performance even more impressive is the fact that he missed the end of the preseason and the first game of the regular season with a hamstring injury. But he didn’t seem slowed at all in Week 2.

According to fellow Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins, Fuller’s mere presence is a huge boost to the team’s confidence:

“It helps us out a lot. You saw he made some plays downfield, and he brought some confidence.”

A boost in confidence is nice, but the Texans hope Fuller’s return also leads to some wins. They face the New York Giants in their home opener in Week 3.
