Jared Goff Must Be Consistent

Jared Goff is one of the most polarizing quarterbacks in the NFL. Although he usually has solid numbers, many think of him as an average player at his position compared to the rest of the league. When Goff is at his best, he is an MVP caliber quarterback, but he has been largely inconsistent.

During the Rams’ Super Bowl run, Goff looked like he was growing to be an NFL star. That did not end up transpiring as he posted a down year in 2019. With no superstar running back present to shoulder the load, Los Angeles needs to be able to lean on Goff. He has to show why he was drafted as the No. 1 overall pick in 2016.

Simply put, Goff has all the tools he needs for success. He has a strong arm coupled with a proficient understanding of proper timing of the offense, as well as playoff experience. Expect this year to be a bounce-back year for him and it will be crucial for the Rams to be successful.
