1. Green Bay Packers
The Packers have been linked to many options at wide receiver this offseason. Josh Gordon is just next up on the list. This is a team that is paper-thin at wide receiver and chose not to draft one in April.
Gordon would be another weapon for Aaron Rodgers. Green Bay still has their No. 1 option in Davante Adams but not much after that. Allen Lazard, Marquez Valdez-Scantling, and Equanimeous St. Brown are next on the depth chart.
Devin Funchess chose to opt-out of the 2020 season after signing a one-year deal. The Packers will feature Jace Sternberger at tight end in 2020. He is a young talent that will have to step up quickly.
At this point, the Packers just need some reliable receivers. Gordon is not exactly reliable, but for a different reason. He has not been able to stay on the field. If he plays, Gordon is the type of receiver that Rodgers could trust, especially in the red zone. The Packers seem like a logical fit because of their need, the leadership, and the offensive system by Matt LaFleur.
