Los Angeles Chargers

This has been the hot team in mock drafts to win the Justin Herbert sweepstakes. Like New England, the Los Angeles Chargers could be moving on from their longtime franchise quarterback. Philip Rivers could have played his last season as a Charger and this would leave the team in need of their next signal caller.

Herbert has all the physical tools that teams look for in a quarterback. The Chargers have other glaring needs but if the Oregon product is on the board, this may be too hard to pass up. The foundation for a football team begins at quarterback.

Joe Burrow will most likely be taken first overall and it is hard to imagine the Dolphins passing on Tagovailoa. This would land Herbert right in the lap of the Chargers.
