Kareem Hunt, Running Back

Another massive piece of the Chiefs’ offense is running back Kareem Hunt, who has established himself as one of the league’s premier rushers in just his second season in the NFL. On Monday night, he carried 19 times for 121 yards and a score, good for an average of 6.4 yards per carry.

Hunt was also a factor in the passing game, catching three balls for 54 yards. He only had one catch prior to Week 4, and he also hadn’t gained 100 yards on the ground before Monday night’s performance, something he did six times in 2017.

It’s likely that Hunt will only continue to get better and better as time progresses. He’s only 23 so he should have a lot of years ahead of him, and he seems to fit in well in Kansas City.

With other talented young players around him, including the aforementioned Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill, the Chiefs’ offense appears to be in good hands. But there’s still one more guy we need to talk more about.
