2. Rondale Moore, Purdue
Moore put up one of the best freshman seasons you will ever see in conference history. In 2018, Moore played 13 games and finished with 113 catches for 1,258 yards and 12 touchdowns. He was one of the biggest playmakers in the country. Moore had tremendous hype surrounding him before his sophomore year.
Unfortunately, Moore suffered a hamstring injury early in the season last year. He was primed for another big year. Through three games, Moore put up 369 yards and two touchdowns. Moore will be a big name to watch in Purdue’s first game of the season. It will be interesting to see how a speedy receiver like Moore will bounce back after a hamstring injury.
When on the field, Moore is extremely versatile and exciting to watch. He can play in the slot or beat a defender downfield. Moore is also electric in the screen game and can be used as a runner as well. There is no doubt that Moore can be the best receiver in the conference if he is able to stay on the field.
Seeing two players from Purdue on this list might surprise some people. That is only the case if you have not seen them play. Purdue’s offense should put up some points in 2020.
