NFL Free Agency 2020: 4 ideal landing spots for EDGE Markus Golden

Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports

Seattle Seahawks

From the moment the 2019 season concluded, the Seattle Seahawks made it clear that they would be open to bringing back Clowney — but for the right price. Seeing that Jadeveon Clowney wants upwards of $16-20 million, it seems that the ship has sailed for Clowney to return to Seattle.

In light of that, the Seahawks could still look to add one of the edge rushers that have been idly waiting to find a new team. Even though Seattle added veterans Bruce Irvin and Benson Mayowa, the defense could still use a jolt in the pass-rushing department.

If the Miami Dolphins weren’t a franchise in the NFL, the Seahawks would have been the team with the least amount of sacks last season with 28 of them. Bringing in Golden, who posted double-digit sacks in 2019, would be a welcomed sight for a Seahawks team that wants to see a drastic improvement on the defensive side of the ball in 2020.
