5. Washington Redskins
There currently isn’t much for reliable receiving options for Dwayne Haskins to utilize in the Washington Redskins’ offense. A weakness, in particular, that needs to be upgraded prior to the start of the 2020 season is the tight end position.
The Redskins underwent a few changes at the tight end position. Between the retirement of Vernon Davis and Washington’s decision to move on from Jordan Reed, the outlook for this spot was depleted. A weak free agency and NFL Draft for this position made it difficult to address.
Considering the Redskins’ projected starter at tight end is Jeremy Sprinkle, there is legitimate need to make an addition at this spot. Having a second-year quarterback makes it all the more important to ensure he has a fair chance to showcase his abilities as a full-time starter.
