Washington Redskins

After the 2019 season concluded, the Washington Redskins didn’t take long to find their next head coach, hiring Ron Rivera. Since Rivera has arrived, the Redskins have made quite a few changes in the secondary.

First and foremost, they elected to release Josh Norman four years after signing him to a five-year, $75 million contract. In addition to Norman’s release, Washington would bring back Kendall Fuller. Fuller was with the Redskins before being traded in exchange for Alex Smith.

Aside from Fuller, the Redskins are hoping to rely on Fabian Moreau, Ronald Darby, and Jimmy Moreland at cornerback. In light of that, Williams would be a welcomed addition to a Washington defense that could use some assurance in the secondary.
