Green Bay Packers
Following his stellar outing in 2019, Williams was set to become an unrestricted free agent. Not long after NFL free agency began, Williams made it clear that returning to the Packers next season is his ‘priority’ option this offseason.
While he is open to signing with other teams, an ideal landing spot for Williams would be to re-sign with the franchise he’s spent 10 of his 13 seasons in the NFL with. As of this moment, Green Bay is pretty set on their top two cornerbacks spots. Both Jaire Alexander and Kevin King figure to be No. 1 and No. 2 on the depth chart once again.
Besides Alexander and King though, it remains to be seen if Josh Jackson or Chandon Sullivan will be the team’s nickel cornerback. Instead of relying on Jackson or Sullivan, the Packers could be best bringing back Williams for another year.
