There is significant excitement from the Philadelphia Eagles surrounding the potential for Miles Sanders in 2020, and rightfully so. He is set to play a huge role in the team’s pursuit of repeating as NFC East champions with his dynamic contributions out of the backfield.

It wouldn’t be wise for the Eagles to head into the upcoming season without a veteran No. 2 to pair with Sanders. Pursuing a Lamar Miller signing would give Philadelphia a needed physical running presence to help in the red-zone and provide a change of pace.

Staying prepared in the event an unfortunate injury were to occur to Sanders at some point during the 2020 season is reason enough to justify signing a talent like Miller. It wouldn’t take that for him to contribute to the team either.
