Los Angeles Chargers

The success of the ground game will be paramount for the Los Angeles Chargers with Tyrod Taylor now under the center. Considering Melvin Gordon departed for the Denver Broncos in free agency, the team could use another proven option like Lamar Miller.

The tone at the running back position for the Chargers is set by Austin Ekeler but he primarily does so as a receiving threat out of the backfield. Meanwhile, Justin Jackson has potential, but Miller’s skill-set would help Los Angeles more in the immediate future.

It’s certainly not a pressing need for the Chargers to add another running back into the mix. They just have an opportunity to add a veteran contributor to help reinforce its roster on a short-term deal to buy more. time to develop the younger options at this position.
