Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Perhaps no team in the NFL has experienced a more eventful offseason than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Between signing Tom Brady and being able to bring Rob Gronkowski out of retirement, it’s been fascinating to track. There’s still one need left to address; a veteran running back.
The Buccaneers currently have Ronald Jones II as its top running back heading into 2020 but lack a reliable veteran No. 2 option. They took Ke’Shawn Vaughn in the 3rd Round of the NFL Draft and while he could contribute, it would be ideal to have a veteran in that role for 2020.
Tampa Bay made headlines recently for their reported pursuit of Devonta Freeman but both sides apparently have yet to reach an agreement on a deal. The asking price may be too steep for Tampa Bay to be able to accommodate, creating a potential opportunity for Lamar Miller.
