It seems like forever ago that everyone turned on their notifications to see where all of the marquee free agents would sign in NFL free agency. Fast forward to now and there is still an abundance of talent available at multiple positions — especially at cornerback.
Throughout the offseason, we witnessed guys like Byron Jones, James Bradberry, and Trae Waynes reset the cornerback market in free agency. On the other hand, after being acquired by the Philadelphia Eagles via trade, Darius Slay would sign a deal that made him the highest-paid cornerback in the NFL.
Besides the more expensive options, other notable cornerbacks that inked deals with new teams this offseason include Desmond Trufant, Kendall Fuller, and Chris Harris Jr. However, there are still a handful of talented cornerbacks that are idly waiting to discover which team they’ll be suiting up for in 2020.
