Last season, the Buffalo Bills had one of the best defenses in the NFL. They drafted a promising young edge rusher in A.J. Epenesa. The Bills have a very solid defensive unit, however,they lack any elite pass rushers. Adding a star pass rusher could make this defense good enough to carry them to a Super Bowl.
The Bills are a young team. They have a talented young core that could serve as one of the top defensive units in the NFL for years to come. However, the Bills defensive ends are getting a bit older. Adding a 26-year-old edge rusher will secure this defense’s future.
Ngakoue thrives when he is surrounded by other talented players. The Bills have a lockdown corner in Tre’Davious White, a talented young linebacker in Tremaine Edmunds, and a very promising defensive tackle in Ed Oliver.
Adding Yannick Ngakoue will instill even more fear on opposing quarterbacks. In order to have an elite defense there must be a star at each level of the defense, and he could solve one of the needs one the front-seven.
