Detroit Lions – The Pass Rush

As for the Lions, they are looking to come out of a rough few years of struggling. Matthew Stafford missed a big chunk of the 2019 season and Detroit finished with a brutal 3-12-1 record.

In order to take the next step, they need a better defense. All of that will start up front with the team’s pass rush.

Trey Flowers is the obvious name that comes to mind when talking about the Lions’ pass rush. He finished the 2019 season with seven sacks. Unfortunately, the rest of the projected starting defensive front racked up just 10.5 sacks combined.

Detroit has to figure out how to get to the quarterback. If they can do that, their defense will be much better this season.
