There was a clear emphasis by the Indianapolis Colts to add more firepower on offense during the 2020 NFL Draft. They started off their selections by picking receiver Michael Pittman Jr. and followed it up by adding running back Jonathan Taylor.

The Colts will be using a dual-back system with Marlon Mack and Taylor receiving a share of the touches. There’s some debate to be had about how much one will get over the other, but the wide receiver position is more pressing.

It has long been a need for the Colts to surrounding T.Y. Hilton with talented complementary options. The receiving hierarchy will need to be sorted between Zach Pascal and prospects like Parris Campbell and Pittman Jr. How that sorts out will be important to monitor.

Pittman, 6-4, provides the best blend of size and athleticism and could be a big-bodied presence to add more layers to the Colts’ passing attack. Meanwhile, Pascal is less dynamic but is reliable and Campbell is a speedy big-play threat with crisp route-running.
