Ndamukong Suh will finish with six sacks
Ndamukong Suh entered the league as one of the most dominant interior linemen in his rookie season. He hit his career high in sacks (10) and solo tackles (49) right off the bat.
He hasn’t had a season that good since, but he has still had some extremely solid years. The last season the three-time all pro has made the Pro Bowl was 2016. A season which saw him total five sacks and 72 tackles, a career high.
The Buccaneers enter the 2020 season with one of the strongest pass rushes in the league. Vita Vea and Shaquil Barrett are two of the stronger pass rushers on the team and should receive a lot of attention. This could leave Suh on an island with one offensive lineman to beat the majority of snaps.
Last year was the lowest sack total of Suh’s career, only rallying up 2.5 of them. However, being on a team with some life and a legitimate chance to compete, Suh’s competitive fire should be taken to an all time high.
He’s been one of the best defensive players in the league since being drafted, and he will turn back time for one more season, helping lead this defense to a deep playoff run.
