Pittsburgh Steelers — Diontae Johnson
The Steelers seem to have a rookie wide receiver that flashes potential every single season. Just a few years after getting JuJu Smith-Schuster in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Pittsburgh landed Diontae Johnson in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Despite having Mason Rudolph and Devlin Hodges throwing him the ball, Johnson hauled in 59 receptions for 680 yards and five touchdowns in 2019. Furthermore, Johnson had a respectable 95.4 quarterback rating when targeted. Once again, that was with less-than-ideal quarterback play.
There’s no doubt that rookie Chase Claypool and Smith-Schuster could steal some targets from Johnson in 2020. On the other hand, having Ben Roethlisberger back should help Johnson have a noteworthy season No. 2 with the Steelers.
