NFL: One second-year player to watch from each team in the AFC North

Baltimore Ravens — Marquise Brown

While Jackson was busy tossing 36 touchdowns in his sophomore campaign with the Ravens, Marquise Brown was Baltimore’s No. 1 wide receiver. Brown, who was taken with the No. 25 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft by the Ravens, would record four receptions for 147 yards and two scores in his NFL debut against the Miami Dolphins.

However, after another impressive performance versus the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2, Brown would see his numbers decline due to a nagging foot injury. Following his rookie season where he missed two games, Brown underwent foot surgery to remove a screw he had inserted.

Even with the injury, Brown finished with a modest 46 receptions, 584 yards, and seven touchdowns in 2019. With Brown being closer to one-hundred percent and having another — somewhat limited — offseason to build a better rapport with Jackson, he’s poised to have a breakout year in 2020.
