Denver Broncos — Drew Lock

Throughout the offseason, there has been a ton of hype surrounding Drew Lock as he enters his first full season as the starting quarterback of the Denver Broncos. After being taken with the No. 42 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, Lock’s rookie season would get off to a shaky start.

The Missouri product would sustain a thumb injury during the preseason, causing him to miss the beginning of the regular season. While Joe Flacco was starting for the Broncos, Lock spent most of the season on injured reserve. But after an injury to Flacco, Lock was activated from injured reserve and was given the keys to the offense.

In his five starts to finish the season, Lock would throw for 1,020 yards, seven touchdowns, and three interceptions. Above all, he would lead the Broncos to a 4-1 record in his five starts. Given the fact that the Chiefs reside in the AFC West, for Denver to compete for a Super Bowl, they’re hoping that Lock can live up to expectations sooner rather than later.
