Las Vegas Raiders — Clelin Ferrell
With the No. 4 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders took Clelin Ferrell out of Clemson. Upon selecting Ferrell, the Raiders were expecting him to give them a massive boost off of the edge.
However, instead of Ferrell being the rookie pass rusher to show upside, it was rookie fourth-round pick Maxx Crosby that led the way in the pass-rushing department for the Raiders in 2019. While Crosby led the team with 10 sacks a season ago, Ferrell struggled, tallying only 4.5 sacks in 15 starts as a rookie.
Nevertheless, Las Vegas still has high hopes for Ferrell and will need him to show improvement if they hope to compete in the AFC West next season. Even though Josh Jacobs, Johnathan Abram, and Crosby are second-year players to pay attention to for the Raiders, Ferrell is the one that faces the most pressure in 2020.
