The Giants have a lot of needs. In the draft, they used the No. 4 pick on Andrew Thomas and added Matt Peart in the third round. Four of their last five selections were used on linebackers. This is in addition to signing Blake Martinez. New York still needs some help on the edge.

This is where Carl Lawson comes into play. Lawson was a fourth round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals back in 2017. The 25-year old is entering the final year of his rookie deal in 2020.

Lawson could be one of the next premier pass rushers in the league. He finished with 8.5 sacks as a rookie and had five last season. The Bengals could be listening to offers for Lawson this season.

At 25-years old, Lawson will bring a nice return to Cincinnati. If the Bengals want to move on, it would not make sense for them to let him walk in free agency. The Giants are in need pf pass rushers. They placed the franchise tag on Leonard Williams and are hoping that Dexter Lawrence can turn into something.
